Frequently Asked Questions From Visitors to our Site:
1) Can you recommend a property for me?
We do not own and sell land
ourselves; we are an online advertising format similar to a newspaper. We like
to think that there are many excellent properties advertised on this site. We
recommend that you use our search parameters to find a suitable property.
2) How do I search for properties on your site?
There are many ways to search on our site:
- On the Home Page you can search by Region or County, or by Type of Land or by Property ID Number.
- These searches are also shown to the left of this text.
- Search by Advertiser. (See Question 3 for details).
- We have an Advanced Search, which allows you to set your own search parameters. Here, you can use a keyword search and use our new Bulls-Eye
Land Locator. This allows you to see all properties within a 250-mile radius of a given point.
3) How do I look at all properties for sale by a single advertiser?
We have a “Search
By Advertiser” Link. Any advertiser with three or more properties is
listed here with all of their properties.
4) I am interested in a property. How do I contact the person selling it?
At the top of every detailed
property description, we provide the contact information for each advertiser.
If for some reason these are not
available or you need help, we are happy to put you in contact with the
advertiser. (Please supply theProperty ID #, the advertiser’s name, and the
best way for the advertiser to get in touch with you.)
5) Does your company make money with every sale?
NO. We are not a real estate broker
or agent. We never receive a commission when a property sells.
Our reasoning is
straightforward: When we advertise properties that sell, we get more traffic and
more business. It is in our interest to bring excellent and diverse tracts of
land together so that our customers have a broad selection. We only profit by a
sale when the buyer and the seller are both happy because they spread the word
that our site works.
6) I buy and sell land, but I only have one or two properties. Can I advertise with you?
Absolutely! We are very proud that
anybody can advertise with us.
We know that on some sites and
newspapers, the “by-owners” and brokers with only a few land listings often get
buried. Because we have a standard format and low prices, we like to think we
have created an even playing field.
7) I’m looking at property in a state or area I am not familiar with. How can I find out more about this area?
Try our Research
Center.
This is a database of links to county resources and areas of
interest to familiarize visitors with the area. We want to provide you with as much
information as possible before you invest your time and resources into a
property.
This
project is “In Progress” on many state sites. We are working hard to get it
up and running. Keep checking the site to see our progress.
8) Why does the site look different?
We update our site as we grow. With
each update, we hope to make the site easier to navigate and use. But don’t let
the facelift fool you; we are still the same company trying to connect people
with land.
9) I think I have a suggestion for you. Do you want to hear it?
ABSOLUTLEY! We want our site to be
the best that it possibly can.
We value the input from each of our advertisers
and visitors. You can call us or e-mail us on the “Contact
Us” page. In the office, we see the site
everyday and we don’t always notice small problems. We love to hear how you use
our site. After all, this site is designed for you, so let us cater to your
needs.
10) Which states do you advertise properties in?
We currently advertise listings on 15
state sites in and around the southeast, and continue to grow. You can click
through to any of the state sites with links at the bottom of this page or you
can go to http://www.southeastlandforsale.com.
11) I know the city I want, but I don’t know the
county it is in. Where should I look to find that information?
Soon, this information will be
available in our growing Research Center. Until that time, we
recommend using this link:
http://www.zip-codes.com/search.asp. If you type in your state and city,
it will produce a county for you.
